What happens if my internet drops mid-service?
Maatrachhaya runs locally on your billing machine. Bills, KOTs, and reports keep working. Everything syncs to the cloud the moment connectivity is back.
Can I migrate from another POS?
Yes. Send us your current menu and item list — we set up your menu, taxes, and recipes for you for free. Most outlets are live within 48 hours.
Who can see my customer and sales data?
Only you. Maatrachhaya is end-to-end encrypted: data is encrypted on your device with a key only you hold, then sent to our servers as encrypted blobs. Even if someone broke into our database, or compelled us with a court order, they'd see only encrypted bytes. We can't decrypt your data — by design, not by promise. Your data lives in Indian data centers, and you can export everything (sales, items, recipes, customers) as CSV at any time.
Do I need new hardware?
No. Maatrachhaya runs on Windows, Android tablets, and most thermal printers you already own. We'll vet your existing setup during onboarding.
Are bills GST-compliant?
Yes — HSN codes, CGST/SGST/IGST, and B2B GSTIN-tagged invoices are all built in. Reports map cleanly to your GSTR filings.
Is there a long-term contract?
No lock-in. Pay monthly, cancel any month. Annual plans get two months free if you prefer.
